๐พ An overview of different roles & functions in mobile games - There are so many options of careers in games to choose from! This session will cover an overview of some roles that you may already be familiar with, and some you didnโt know existed.
๐พ Game Development Overview - Creating a game happens in multiple phases - from paper pitch to greybox prototype, and eventually launch. This session covers some important phases that happen when developing a game, and also things to consider when you're pitching a game.

Alyssa Perez
Alyssa Perez is a lead on the Global Business Consulting team at Google Play, a team focused on leveraging Google Play data and their product expertise to help mobile developers identify opportunities and grow their businesses. Prior to joining Google, Alyssa specialized in mobile game monetization, user segmentation and in-game economies. She worked as a senior Product Manager, a Business Analytics Manager and an Economy & Monetization strategist across different studios and genres. Before working in mobile gaming, she worked in real-money gaming at Caesars Entertainment where she identified her passion for data & user behavior analytics. Alyssa earned a BS in mathematics from the UCLA
JENNIFER Ashiru
Jennifer Ashiru is a Games Growth Consultant on the Global Business Consulting team where she supports developer partners by delivering thoughtful consultations that help them identify areas for optimization and growth in their games. She was previously a Games Producer at Private Division (Take-Two Interactive) and Cartoon Network; and has produced games across mobile, PC, and console platforms from both the development and publishing side. Her love for gaming stems heavily from the unique visual storytelling they offer โ some might say sheโs a huge point-and-click nerd. Additionally, Jennifer has a BA in Art History/Visual Arts and a minor in Computer Science from Emory University.
