2023 GMG Virtual Summer Camps 🌎

Learn how to design and program your own video game in just 3 weeks!

Play and create video games, make new friends, and submit your game for a chance to win exciting prizes sponsored by GMG’s partners like PlayStation, Google, and Nintendo of America 💖

 

Virtual SUMMER Camp features:

  • Live, guided instruction. All camp participants will learn through group instruction led by a mentor (Camp Counselor) virtually.

  • Small groups of 5-6 participants per instructor

  • Each camp participant makes their own individual practice game in the first week and later has an opportunity to make a team game or a solo game for a chance to enter Demo Day and win exciting prizes.

  • Community building (i.e. make new friends!) via online games, community contests and more!

  • Meet industry role models: Speaker sessions and special modules led by industry experts. Learn about careers and pathways in the video games industry.

 

ELIGIBILITY:

  • Dates: 3 weeks, July 10-28. Weekdays only (Mon-Fri)

  • Hours: 10am-3pm Eastern Time / Pacific Time (US)
